Snow Removal Update for Tuesday, December 29, 2020, 9 p.m.

City operations: The Snow Emergency and arterial/bus route parking bans end at midnight. Where allowed, parking will again be available on major streets and bus routes after this time.

Fifty-nine crews will finish clearing arterial streets and bus routes in the next several hours. Thirty-one crews continue citywide residential plowing. Due to additional snowfall a second pass may be needed in areas. This determination will be made once the first pass is completed.

National Weather Service: A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight tonight.

Street conditions: Arterial streets range from wet with slush to partially snow covered. Drivers should observe winter driving conditions and remain on alert for slick spots and areas of overnight refreeze.
