Street Condition Update for Sunday, December 15, 2019, 9:30 a.m.

Twenty City crews are applying granular salt pre-wet with anti-ice brine to arterial streets.  Crews report that snow-covered streets are responding well to brine pre-treatment.  Drivers should prepare for slick winter driving conditions.

Street Condition Update for Friday, December 13, 2019, 3:45 p.m.

Due to possible snow this weekend, at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, 15 crews will begin applying anti-ice brine to arterial streets and bus routes.  Street and weather conditions will be monitored throughout the weekend and resources will be deployed as necessary.

Street Condition Update for Monday, December 9, 2019, 12:05 p.m.

Twenty City crews continue to apply granular salt pre-wet with anti-ice brine as needed.  Crews report street conditions ranging from dry to compacted snow on isolated areas.  Drivers should be alert for slick areas and black ice, especially during the morning commute tomorrow.

Street Condition Update for Monday, December 9, 2019, 7:45 a.m.

Twenty City crews continue to apply granular salt pre-wet with anti-ice brine to arterial, school and bus routes.  Bridges were treated with brine at midnight. Material spreading operations began at 3 a.m.  Drivers should be alert for slick spots, especially on untreated areas.
