Street Condition Update for Tuesday, November 26, 2019, 12:15 p.m.

Twenty City crews are standing by to apply granular salt pre-wet with anti-ice brine to arterial streets, school and bus routes. Street and weather conditions are being monitored.  Currently, Traffic Management reports wet pavement and normal driving conditions.  Pavement surfaces are expected to remain above freezing this afternoon, but slick spots may develop as temperatures decrease overnight.

A National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday.  Winds up to 40 mph and snow accumulation up to five inches are possible.

Street Condition Update for Monday, November 11, 2019, 12:20 p.m.

The Traffic Management Center has suspended winter operations for this weather event and will continue to monitor conditions.  Crews report wet and drying streets.  Drivers are urged to be alert for slick areas, especially on untreated streets.

Street Condition Update for Monday, November 11, 2019, 5:15 a.m.

Twenty City crews continue applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to arterial, bus and school routes.  The first treatment is expected to be complete by 8 a.m. today.  Crews report that some treated streets are partially covered with snow.

The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. today. Drivers are urged to watch for slick areas, especially on untreated streets.

Street Condition Update for Sunday, November 10, 2019, 3:15 p.m.

With snow forecasted for tonight, 20 City crews will begin patrolling arterial, bus and school routes at midnight. They will apply granular salt pre-wet with brine. Additional resources will be deployed as necessary.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 9 p.m. Sunday to 9 a.m. Monday. Slick roads are possible Monday morning.
