Street Condition Update for Friday, February 15, 2019, 9 a.m.

Twenty City crews are patrolling arterial, bus and school routes applying granular salt pre-wet with brine as needed.  Plow crews are standing by.  Bridges and key intersections were pretreated with anti-ice brine overnight.  Arterial streets are becoming wet and partially snow-covered.

The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. today.  Snow accumulation of up to 4 inches is possible.  Be alert for slick spots and black ice throughout the day.  Slow down and allow yourself extra travel time and stopping distance.
