Street Condition Update for Wednesday, February 6, 2019, 12:10 p.m.

Beginning after noon today, 20 City crews will apply granular salt, pre-wet with brine to arterial streets, bus and school routes as needed.  Streets are currently wet with normal driving conditions. Arterial, bus and school routes have been pre-treated with anti-ice liquid brine.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6 p.m. today to noon Thursday.   Mixed precipitation followed by snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Drivers should be alert for changing weather conditions and use caution during the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
