Street Condition Update for Friday, December 28, 2018, 4:35 p.m.

Twenty-five City crews continue to apply granular salt, pre-wet with brine as needed to arterial streets.  All trucks will be recalled by 8 p.m. and operators are on standby overnight if needed for redeployment.  Arterial streets vary from wet to dry with normal driving conditions.  Overnight temperatures are expected to fall into the single digits.  Drivers are urged to use caution and be alert for areas of refreeze creating slick spots on streets and sidewalks, paying special attention to untreated streets.
