City of Lincoln Snow Removal Update for Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, 5 a.m.

Drivers will see some snow and ice covered streets this morning and should be on the alert for frost and black ice.  You’re advised to allow extra time for your commute, slow down and allow plenty of following distance.  Twenty City crews were on the streets overnight plowing arterials and bus and school routes.  They’ve also been apply deicers as needed, using granular salt pre-wet with brine.  If you come across City crews on your drive, give them plenty of room to do their jobs.

Please stay informed on the status of snow operations in Lincoln.  Additional information is available on the City website at snow.lincoln.ne.gov.  If you have questions, you may call the Public Works Snow Center at 402-441-7644.
